Effective July 1, 2020, all students will be required to have a device to allow them success in their educational careers.
Many devices meet the exemption specifications and should provide enough resources to accomplish most assignments across all majors. These requirements are in place to make sure you are able to access everything during your entire college career.
Purchasing the Laptop
Laptops are available for purchase through the Gloucester and Cumberland bookstores.
For those who wish to use Financial Aid to purchase your laptop, you may be able to use the "book voucher" program. A book voucher is available to students who are eligible for a refund. Eligible students may use a portion of their refund to purchase books and supplies at the start of the semester. This process is referred to as receiving a "book voucher."

To use a book voucher for your laptop purchase, you not only need a completed and reviewed FAFSA, but you will also need to have an expected refund.
Book vouchers are issued electronically by the Business Office/ Bursar's Office and are available
only during designated periods during the term (Aug 24 for Gloucester;
Aug 17 for Cumberland). The availability of book vouchers depends on when the student's financial aid application is reviewed and if the aid has been awarded to their college account. This means you must have a completed and reviewed FAFSA.
How do I get the laptop?
Laptops are now available to purchase. You can order the laptop through the Barnes and Noble bookstore websites for both the Gloucester and Cumberland campuses. Laptops may be scheduled for pick up or can be shipped directly to your house.
